how long to swap 8v engine?

roughly how long should it take a competant person to swap a 8v GTI engine and box over ? :undecided:

Not long. But depends whats seized etc, then also depends what kind of equipment you have

Im i right in thinking the easiest way is: lights, rad, bumper,and slam panle off. Then drag it out through the front with a crane and unbolt the maifold at the cat?

seems a very fast way of doing it, but might be a few issues putting the new engine back in. :grin:
