after market boge-sachs and bilstein (and others) are not shorter...

you need to buy tuning shockers from p.i - fk etc if you want shorter pistons (the fk's I have fitted are about 2 inch shorter than the o.e's)

The standard shocks i took off mine were Boge.

yeah but after market boge are valved differently... the o.e spec was softer!

My Weitec Ultra GT struts are definitely shorter than the standard ones.

they are not a direct o.e replacement, they are tuning type shockers with shortened rods (designed to run with lower suspension)

o.e replacements would be no good if lower more than 30/40mm.. that's where you need the shorter rod one's, my fk's are definitely shorter but they are designed for upto 60mm lowering
