Yeah I was on my way home from a night shift (half asleep lol) il give you a been if I ever see you around   Do I need to sand it right down first, I've got access to all the paint and lacquer, as my mums partner does paint jobs and airbrushing. Just want to learn to do it myself!?

i sit the lips you are wanting to sort out? if so they are probably polished so best bet is paint stripper to remove the rest of the lacquer then get polishing

Didnt get the first bit dude? Just pour paint stripper on them then polish then re- lacquer??

Sorry , should read is it just the lips.

I did some bbs lm reps recently. Dabbed stripper on the lips carefully, that lifted the lacquer. Sanded the corroded areas then repolish.

it was only a quick spruce up so not perfect but you get the idea
