Some gizmos are useful and make for a nicer driving experience. I use cruise control everytime I am on a dual carriageway, but the parking sensors on the Bora were so bl00dy annoying I disconnected them.  :lipsrsealed:

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

I too like driving a Mk2 with windy windows & sunroof, non-ABS brakes, manual locking etc.

But to refuse to ever drive a modern car is a fail.

You will miss out on the feeling you get when you get back in your old car!

Why do I need auto park? I can do it with my eyes closed I'm so skilled!
No honestly why do I need anything to help me drive?
I been doing it for 40 odd years and still enjoy it so why detract from that?
Besides its just another set of electronics to go wrong and cost a fortune and something that we as amateur mechanics cant fix!

Thank you, Leonard. This was my initial point, and if they start relying on auto park then they shouldn't have a licence.
