Hi I was outside trying to change my gear knob and gaitor on my mk4, seen the guids, but can't find a guid showing this sort of attachment? How do i remove this sort of attachment? I tried with plyers and the two white parts grasp into eachother gbut doesn't do anything. Any help would be great thanks!!

as above, jam a small screwdriver in there and twist it so the ring bends. Don't bend it too much if you want to use it again
