Hi All,
Been on and off the forum for the past 18 months (excuse the limited posts as Ive just been taking in knowledge) with the original plan to 20VT a MK2. Well after the financial delay of a house move thanks to the GF, I have now finally got myself a 91 Mk2 GTI 8V with the same owners for the past 12 years and 89K on the clock. Its pretty immaculate inside and the old engine pulls well and doesnt appear to have lost any of its horses to the supermarkets (sorry !). Needs some work externally but no rot where you wouled expect so Im pretty happy ive got the base car required. Pics to follow.
