No ranting here, just pointing out that it's not a major problem and it's been blown out of proportion.
They don't get your full address, only the suburb / town you live in, for TAX reasons in America you need this info. As Google is an American company they do things their way and forget the rest of the world don't work in the same way but still apply the same rules across the board, a lot of large American based international businesses do this. Google's system works different to Apple's who probably work differently to Microsoft to Amazons to ebay etc etc etc etc......
iOS users should know about these flaws in iOS too so posted in here instead of a new thread, a conversation about the recent discovery of the flaws found in iOS 6 would be great - but I'm guessing that'll be perceived as being anti-apple?
