Where can i get a ignition live for my DRL's

As title really, where can i get a ignition live for my DRL's on my mk4 golf Gt TDi 130?

There will be a live from your headlights. Tap into that feed...just to find the correct colour I guess

Well i dont want to be having to cut into all the wires until i find the right one

can you not wire direct to battery and have an on off switch in car :\ or like said try find a light diagram to see what wire to connect to... :\ lol

Get a multi meter.....

behind the fuse panel inside your car, there should be a few thick wires that are yellow with black stripes. These are ignition switched.

I do have one but dont know how to use it 
and would probably help me with this.....
