Engine light on and staying..............
« on: 15 February 2013, 23:13 »
It happened yesterday while driving my 2001 2.0 GTI. She still drives perfectly and I can't find any faults. Does anyone have any ideas I can check myself?

Don't fancy being ripped of by a VW dealer, so wondered if any of the diagnostic readers on ebay are worth buying?  They seem to vary from 10 quid (imagine they're too cheap to be any good) upwards.  Any tips gratefully appreciated.

Thanks chaps.
