Ive been putting this off 4 ages now i got my gt tdi last yr from an auction and got it very reasonable but it didn't come with any documents as it was a snatch back i managed to sort that out but now as mot and service comes round i need to get hold of a service book any ideas what i can do? do you think that the main dealer would be able to help me?
and should i get it done at the main dealers or do i go to a indertpendent 1 i know of one in marks tey i am in clacton

ah car auctions, i had to deal alot with them in my last job, buying snatch backs is hassle, we had problems getting the V5's etc.... you should be able to pick a new book up from VW.. dunno how much they are mind due..

hassle i know but it was cheep w reg gt tdi 115bhp only done 60000 just over £5000!

yes but its worth it as you can pick up some really good deals at the auctions, i had to go to a auction in wimbledon.. we sent some of our part exchanges there and they needed to come back, but i went in to the sales bit while we waited from them to find our bangers lol.. its was cool... some good cars going for cheap!!! and the guy calling out the prices was talking soooo quick!!!!
