I'm not going to defend the car because I know I can't. It's all about balance in my home. Mr's SoundillusioN is happy with whatever when it comes to things I do and want and although hating my "Ugly" mk1, she knows it's here for life. Sadly though she hasn't got her own toy that is just for her and deserves one, this is it, this is what she want's and she loves it, is happy with it so I am happy (so long as it doesn't start breaking too much).

Power isn't an issue, no heavy right foot on my lady. There's nothing that someone can tell me that's going to shock me, I know these cars very well and they shock me well enough all by themselves!
After a good long drive up north and a very good look over it, it turned out to be in better order than the last one she had. However that's not to say it's perfect and sadly has issues I've seen before, none of them urgent but I'm sure you'll see once I've got some golf stuff done. I drove it back to make sure it was sound. It drives very well, it's been well looked after and is very comfortable. Been a long time since I've seen a fuel gauge move if you look at it long enough while you're driving!

Half a tank later it was home without drama.
