Try searching vwvortex.com there's hundreds of people that have done vr6 T's there's so much information on there on what to get and who to use. Also plenty of build threads to read.
If you still need to ask question after searching through that site then you shouldn't be building your own.
I looked into it couple of years ago and found them very helpful.
