in my mk2 golf gti 8v the engine sits really low is there a way to heighten it.Can you get such things as engine raises or something.

the engine is low , to keep a low centre of gravity & help handling
why would you want to raise it ?
also raising the engine is going to change the driveshaft angles..
if the motor is too low ,bend zee knees instead

Like said above drilled hockey pucks and longer mounting boits will bring it up an inch or so. You wont get it any higher than that before things start fouling other things.

This is probably the easiest option...
Hockey puck but watch those cv joints and make sure the shafts aint rubbing

run the gti at a proper ride hight and use it like a GTI should be...
