Another option is to try your local engineering / machining shop.

you looking for one to be sent to you or going to supply your own? what weight too? i know hes getting it down to about 4.6kg now but thats crazy light!

Does he have any experience in flywheels?
Or just a dude with a lathe?

Under 5 Kgs on a cast flywheel sounds light...and possibly dangerously light.
I wouldn't fancy going too far and having it let go...the gearbox casing and firewall won't offer much protection if it does.

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

Sound advice Glen, under 5kg is way too light and very risky.

I would just let Hotgolf do it, loads of us are rocking his stuff, he did my gearbox too, top guy

when he did mine, he asked the power of the car etc before he did any work. He then told me the correct weight to go for, too light on mine would be no good apparently  (Turbo 350+ bhp)

He did say, on a non turbo car he would take it as light as he could whatever that means..
