Bought this from eBay for the pricey sum of £8 as it said not sure if it works. The aperture blades move smoothly, focus ring is slightly loose but still smooth. I was wondering if anyone knew what the mount is? It was advertised as M42, but isn't!
Any ideas?

Looking at this last photo showing the bottom of the lens, right by the button (which you would probably press to release the lens), it says "OM".
So I would suggest that it's an Olympus OM lens.
