MK2 Golf GTI 8v breaks question...

I've had a look but cant find anything on break conversions.

Whats the cheapest and most effective break upgrade for my golf gti?

a set of late 16 valve breaks. cheaper than g60 ones and a direct swap. get them from a scrappy for not alot of cash. yours are 239mm,  16v are 256mm, g60 are 280mm.
