anniversary spoiler question

This may been covered before but its been bugging me..

My car came with genuine anni spoiler fitted. I see all the other gti ones have the cutout for the aerial. Why does the anni one not have this? is the aerial mounted further back on them or does the boot hit the aerial when open?

i think the r32 has the same spoiler aswell

Because they don't stick out as far, meaning you don't have the ugly cut out! Most people with the 'gti' spoiler would bite your arm off to swap!!

Oh yer i notice it now the spoiler doesnt poke out as much..

I thought they were exactly the same minus the cut out

 It look like the gti one but without the cutout..

 It has the VW audi stamp underneeth..

I prefer the sleeker looking Anni/R32 spoiler, but I would definitely have the Votex over the Gti one.
