« on: 08 February 2013, 08:52 »
My donut missus borrowed my car the other day and has lost my car keys...after searching high and low in her house we have had no joy, i am now stuck for solutions...it has a conlog alarm installed...can someone please point me in the right direction? I have a spare fob....needs batteries (that's if the fob actually works)

bigger issue is if it has a conlog it will also have a coded key..... there's 2 ways to get around that!

1. contact vw and hope they still have the code on there databases (although they will want you to buy a new coded key from them)
2. bypass the immobiliser (you can buy kits but they are fiddly to sort...and you would need to inform you insurer)

and thats after you have sorted the alarm/locks

Easiest option is pay someone 100 quid for keys locks barrel and immob box + ECU.

Swap it all in a day. That's what I'd do.

Where all my moneys went.
