I think the Boge / Eibach setup still feels like a manufacturer acceptable level of comfort.
If not quite as soft as the original springs, it would at least be representative of a special version,
or it is like comparing a Mk4 1.8T GTI with a SEAT Leon Cupra, the Leon is firmer but still comfortable.

My 16v didn't handle too badly. Was quite surprised when I saw that it was standard.

Where all my moneys went.

If you like the way it drives then just carry on driving it...if it aint broke don't fix it.

I don't know what dampers Ive got, I've only replaced one in two years of heavy ownership....cheapy thing...goes round round abouts and over speed bumps well enough for me...altho tyres do play a big part in handling I have found

keep it standard. drop it by 30mm if you really want blow your budget on tyres then put the peddle to the metal

+1, slam it minty!!! Standard 4x4 ride height? are you going to have a sticker on your car next saying "some things should be left alone" like the old tv advert?

Your car is looking great, now finish the job and lower it.
