Looking to buy a tent
« on: 05 February 2013, 21:04 »
With Volksfest looming, we're in need on a nice new tent.

We're looking for something with either a) two separate bedrooms b) one very large bedroom.  Either way it needs to be tall enough to stand up in so that we can put the little one to bed without having to crouch.

Any suggestions?  Looking for something cheap.

We found this which looks brilliant, but concerned that it won't be very waterproof.

This one also ticks all the boxes and is high quality, but £200 is a little

Go Outdoors is great!!

We bought this one last year

Fairly sure we paid less than £200 mind  :undecided:

Yes they may be pricey but they are well built and spacious

We went and viewed them. The one you linked too I found very dark / claustrophobic almost  :undecided:  The Voyager has more windows and is more than tall enough so you can stand up properly in it   the bedrooms are spacious and the living area is huge!!

A dark tent can be an advantage if camping during early morning light!
June daylight starts around 5am so if you are up late......
Find it difficult to sleep in daylight.

Given our weather we bought one with more windows just in case you are stuck inside whilst it's hammering down with rain
