have to agree if ya just after em looking half decent hammerite is defo the way to go!!!

as top said^^^ easy and theyll look fine at that for steelies!!

they will smooth off, get a wire brush attatch ment to a drill and use that if it dont come off with hand wire brush, but min d your tyres!!

this way also means you can change the colour of them when you feel like it

remember its hammerite so you dont have to get them sparkly clean first.

i have always had alloys on my cars through the years, i have never put steel wheels on in winter! but i am rather anal about keeping my car clean, i have never had any problem! just keep them clean, but i suppose it is a good idea if your not going to clean your car every week!

tbh im pretty anal bout it too.... atleast once a week.. more if mucky!! might be abl to persuade dad.... not that he is even involved... lol...he just scares me!

I'd just stick alloys on!

I've had the same set for a couple of years and the're fine. I'm pretty slack at washing them too, and my god they can get filthy! (I live in Wales....land of the mud!)
