ive had a look at the cam section on here but want to know what cam do most prefer?is it just a straight swap for the standard cam?has anyone got any advice or point me in the right direction.

I got a Kent cam that's listed for the mk4 2.0 8v.
It went straight in my AGG and made a massive improvement

Seals and gaskets. My engine had only done about 30,000 miles when I changed it so that's all I done.
About £300 I think mate, all in.

Youtube got me thinking as ive seen a one on there using a 266 cam and thought my 8v could do with a bit more poke.Mine is on 150k

Make sure you get new lifters then. Think mine has bit more than that.
