VW 2 Year Service Plans

Has anybody ever bought one of the Volkswagen 2 Year Service Plans as advertised on the VW website...now and in previous years.

Have you tested the phrase "free MOT tests for the life of your plan"...by which I mean, have you attempted to have a third MOT test done free of charge...?

If so, were you met with any resistance or denial...?

My plan runs out in a month's time and I have already had two MOT tests...but would like another one before termination of my plan.

Previous dates of tests have been 1st Mar 2011...1st March 2012...and I am hoping for 28th Feb 2013.  Therefore 3 tests in a two year period.  My renewal date is actually the 30th Mar.

I appreciate that I might miss a month on the forward dating of my Certificate.

No reason why not, unless in small print you cant.

As all dealers are independent, so it will depend on the service manager I guess and if they want your repeat business.
