Slightly off topic but you mentioned tax price on a 4 motion I happened to see a mk5 R32 parked up yesterday and the tax on that thing was £445  :laugh:

Think thats a pretty steap tax price just for a R32 fair enough if its a Porsche or some other high performance car..

all to do with it being 4wd ,the feckers :angry:  ,went up first in 2001 and then even more in 2005 iirc

Any mk5 R32 registered between 18/11/05 - 23/03/06 is £270 for 12 months. Any Mk5 r32's registered after 23/03/06 are £475 for 12 months tax.

All mk4 R32 / 4 motions are £270 (2012) / £290 (2013)

Never driven a 4 motion but on paper they seem a big lump of a car for 200bhp. If i was to own one i would stick a set of coilovers on and upgrade the anti roll bars to stiffen it up a little maybe.
