Watch out theres dodgy drivers out there!
« on: 09 October 2003, 22:23 »
My car was involved in an accident where the plum drove into my passenger door whilst I was getting out of my car outside my house. He gave me false details and luckily I was able to nip indoors and get my digital camera to get some evidence. Luckily I am getting it all done on my insurance and the old bill have a nice file on the other driver.

Make sure you keep one of those disposable cameras in your car for when you have an accident. It will more than pay for itself as evidence if the other driver denies all knowledge.

Be the best ?5 you've ever spent.

How about carrying an axe around, quite cheap too and well worth the money  ;)

about to say, camera phones are great for that sort of stuff now.

what bugs me most is the amount of people driving round with no insurance, no tax, no MOT and a driving liscence seems a little optional nowadays. if the police do catch the guy - nothing will happen. Slap on the wrists, his insurance premium will go up, but he won't care because he has no insurance, and you can't sue him cause he's probably got nothing.

Aye but its not just the dodgy ones u have got to watch for, its all these oldies who brake about six times before eventually stopping at a roundabout, drive in the back of them n thats u not modding for a year cos ur premium has went up too high!

A lass i know, who was driving without insurance, she apprently didn't get her reminder-yeah right!,got an instant ban n fine cos she hadn been driving for two year!but that was good cos i didn't like her!!Plus she drove a corsa!

a coffin doger pulled out in front of me earlier this year. I got on the horn as soon as I saw him move, but instead of booting it and actually trying to avoid a collision he just trundled out closing the gap I was breaking and steering into. we swaped details and I sent him the quote for my car and he said it'd have to go through the insurrance and then he tells his insurrance I hit his stationary vehicle! ffs he was in the middle of the road.

my dad said that was stalemate so I found a straigher bumped, bolted on my big bumper over the top and fixed the indicator. the wing still has a small dent, but that'll be sorted soon.

bloody coffin dodgers and their ?100 a year insurrance!
