Any one ever done it?
I said I'd take the mrs to Vagus for her 21st been looking into it, and figures why go for a few days I'd rather do this!
Recommendation on who to book with? Or would I be better doing it all separate?

Me and the Mrs have been looking into it recently.
It looks like a 3 week job to drive from Chicago to LA and there is around 1800-2000 still driveable miles.
Theres loads of car hire and hotel packages available but it works out expensive. Its looking like £6Kish for the two of us.
Watch Billy Connolly's route 66 programme that was on ITV a few years ago to get you in the mood!
