Hi, had my mkv GTi for about a year now and loving it!
Although for couple of weeks after a short drive from work I reverse on my drive and I have noticed a 'petroly' smell.
Also coming home from work today (about 6 miles away) the fuel light came on and I planned to fill up in the morning, just nipped down the shop about 2 mins away and the needle is completely on zero. Now when the fuel light has come on before I'm sure it didn't go to empty quite so quickly. Don't know if I'm imagining it because of the petrol smell or not.
Does anyone know of any problems that could cause these?
