I am looking at getting a MK6 GTD. One followed me today with the Bi-Xenon lights + LEDs. Are the LEDs standard with the Bi-Xenon?

Still learning about the GTD, is that all Bi-Xenons for all years theof MK6? Do you know when the rear LEDs became standards?

LED rears became standard mid 2010, the LED "fairy lights" were an update to the option Xenons early 2011 i think.

So early xenons didnt have fairy lights then?

LED rears became standard mid 2010, the LED "fairy lights" were an update to the option Xenons early 2011 i think.

Just to update, iirc the front LED's on factory fitted Bi-Xenon's came into effect in mid-2010 (any new pre-orders of March-ish 2010).
I ordered mine in April 2010, but was convinced by the wife not to go OTT with options thus no Xenon's ( ), why did I listen to her !??!!
Got mine with standard fronts but had LED rears.

A neighbour collected his in Sep 2010 and had the LED's on Bi-Xenons, but unbelievably had non-LED rears. I still don't know why this was. I suggested that he ask his dealer but he couldn't be bothered
