Pranged the daily.
« on: 23 January 2013, 19:25 »
Unknown road, down hill, snow, slow speed at 10-15 mph, move out of somebody's way and gravity pulls me into the camber of the road and couldn't stop it. Full lock right, power or brakes do nothing and a telegraph pole stops the car.

Split bumper, pushed in wing at top of wheel arch which has scuffed and creased it, mashed up mirror cover.

Not bad but looks like sh*t

Typical as I give it back to work in a few weeks!

Need a cheap fix as will end up getting auctioned off for peanuts.

Normal body place will probably bin the bumper and even possibly the wing.  I want it fixed to keep cost down.

Anybody know any sensible and reasonable bodyshops near Rugby/Warwickshire?

Yeah I'm hoping a smart place can sort it.  Only just started looking (on phone, need to get on a pc) to find something other than mobile operators.  Would rather take it somewhere, it'll need paint.  :embarrassed:

Its not totally out of the question to be honest... So far most near me are paint experts, not dents and bumpers.

Does it need to be fixed or can you blag it until the new one rolls up?
What about getting a favourable quote and settling with the lease co in notes?

Sucks when you bump any car, at least you are ok and its not a complete wreck
