Water pump issues...
« on: 19 January 2013, 12:34 »

Hey guys, just changed my water pump and took her out for a test run, there is heat coming from the heater and the temp gauge goes to the middle and stays there, however, the MFA is non responsive and the rev counter reads nothing the whole time, also as you can see I have these two warning lights on, all the time, even over night with the ignition off :(

Just curious if you guys know what this could be or if you have had this problem?

All replies will be greatly appreciated :D

Dont think the problems are related...

Looks like you either have

1, An earth problem
2, Electrical issues with the fusebox or cluster wiring
3, Knackered set of clocks...

Which ones most likely? The clocks worked perfectly before so I don't think it's them

reset the clocks via the fuse and take it from there. Had a similar issue and cured it but might be more to yours.

As already mentioned with resetting fuse a dead battery will also screw your clocks up.

Fuse and un connect then re connect battery, that will sort the rev counter and MBA info.
