I find the t1r good in the wet!
So do I...that's why I run them.
Byt they are crap in the cold.
Only winter tyre I've used is continental winters found them very good. Had them on my bmw 528 and was awesome in the snow. Could also do full throttle launch in the wet with no wheel spin. Traction control off obviously.
195/50/15 is a good size for winter. Wouldn't hurt to go 195/55/15 if they are cheeper
I've used Toyo, Pirelli, Vredestein, Michelin and Avon winters...and although some are better than others...it's the jump to winter tyres that gives the advantage.
If anyone goes to the trouble of getting winter wheels...any set of cold weather designed tyres is a real advantage.
