bit too tall that one mate might struggle to get it behind the bumper etc

ideally want 2,25" piping for your set up

you wont need much piping mate

get the kit in the car including the L bend pipe then you will know what you need, a few L bends, a straight and some silicone 90 degree bits etc will see you right

their kits on ebay if u wanna just get one but they have more than you need in the kit

This  is the standard charge pipe that I chopped about and fitted to point in the opposite direction

I also have the same toyosports intercooler kit and wasn't to bad to mount and get it all fitting nicely,i did have to buy a few other silicone pipes such as the one to the throttle body and the one off the turbo .

cheers screech perfect pictures,
ive found a kit on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321018228382

think this should do the trick dont mind having spare.
one more thing is hydro clutch set up, im running a tdi box and my gti is only the 8v so on a cable set up. im prepared to find the parts of a tdi/vr6/16v to sort it but keep reading things about a hydro/cable conversion but dont know if such a thing exists or where i can get my hands on one.

thanks again and again and again

Think the hydro cable comes from a seat, not sure which model though, mine was a 16v so already had hydro set up.

you just need the hydro bits off a 16v or a VR6 mate, basically the secondary cylinder that joins to your pedal box, the pipes that go from the brake fluid reservoir bottle to the top of the gearbox, where it meets another cylinder.. you need all these bits

i have no pics at hand

if you look on your 8v reservoir theirs a little pipe poking out the right hand side (as long as its not a very early GTI)  this is where the pipes join the bottle

if your car is a J, K or L reg you need more parts like i did for mine

screech the seat thing u mention is a hydro to cable conversion thing and in my opinion its crap, we have fitted one in the past looks ugly too

just means you dont have to fit the hydro bits

Ye them Seat hydro conversion kits are very bulky and ugly, they end up looking like a bodge up job even though they are oem, as Brad said we put one an a conversion as per the customer and it looked a bit sh!t tbh lol
You should be able to pick up the bits cheap enough, you need the shifter, slave and master cylinders and pipework and as Brad (F17BAD) has said, a late spec brake fluid reservoir if yours is an early model car, also better check your clutch pedal too if its an early car, there should be a small box section welded on the top left hand side of the clutch pedal, this is for the clutch slave piston to connect to. If its not there, you will have to source one of them too
