I don't see the fuss people in England assume there is.

It's the same here as it is in any other country. When it first snows and it's fresh, there's delays, once it's pushed to the sides, we carry on - that's exactly the same in other countries.

'Canada don't have these delays on roads and air' - yes they do

'Germany doesn't bla bla' - yes they do

'Norway doesn't bla bla' - yes they do

Just a moaning nation and medial over sensationalizing things, yet again.

We are alright. It's all excuses. There's delays once it's fresh, naturally. Now it's fine.

I really can't see the issues.

Okay I happen to have a mini 4x4 this time round with extremely capable tyres but I got about in the Golf just fine. Only thing that annoyed me was the tread pattern is all straight so crap for snow so the fact it takes such fettling to get up to speed agrivated me.

End of our road turn left and a long tight at some points lane totally snowed. Was the best thing ever at first as no one would drive on it. Fresh snow is easy.

Where all my moneys went.

Tell that to the drivers of the 4 cars i saw piled up this morning cos we'd had a little frost !

I agree for the most part though, if people drive to the conditions and have a roadworthy vehicle then it's no big deal.

I live near Altrincham in Manchester and apart from a little snow last week, we have had none at all!

Looking out my window now and is just like a normal day outside. Is strange seeing most of the country covered in lots of snow. I have friends in different parts of the UK from Scotland down to Cornwall, all have had so much snow, yet we have had none!

Is annoying as my little girl would of loved it.
