FFS, we had sh1t loads more than this 30 years ago and nothing stopped then. We all got to school, people got to work. The drama made out of this little flurry is just a joke.

30 years ago there were less cars, more local jobs and industry and no M25. The demand on cars and roads were very very little compared to now.

Window cleaning done. Time to pull the head off a Punto. Too many people are wimps! Put your hands in ice cold water for as long as you can bare and then they'll warm up.

Then spend later life with arthritis, genious.

I have never seen so much hype about the threat of a bit of snow.

Countries that actually have PROPER snow must be pissing themselves laughing at that fuss being made about a few centimetres we have had.

Work from home, - yeah right

If you have to work, stay indoors - erm aye ok.

Bare supermarket shelves from panic buying

a DOCTOR giving advice about heating your house

What a crock of sh!te

and discuss ................................

No need to discuss as far as i'm concerned.  agree with all the above.

I'm one of few people who have made it in and therefore everyone who isn't here is a pu55y.

For those that are here the big bosses are offering the option to go home early but we have to take it as half day holiday... fook off, i'm staying here, in fact because of this why don't you pay me double time for the effort!

What made me laugh was people stocking up and panic buying petrol... If they don't think they can get to the petrol station later, then why do they need fuel??!

Amazingly practically all the office made it in, except.... yup, the 2 bosses

Apparently they were "working from home".

Sound like they can't be 4rsed more like...

I first drove in snow in a Classic Mini. I REALLY REALLY miss one as they're so much fun!

Can't they just remote desktop their work machines?  Make the feckers work no matter what the weather is like or where they are, just like we do

I only closed shop early because the wife is about to drop our sprog and I'd rather be at home with her than 20miles away ! We can all work from home and we rarely get customers come to the office anyway and today with so few customers working ...

Well it took me 2 hours to do 3 miles.  Normally this journey is 20 minutes.  People really can't drive and don't get me started on sidelights with foglights on.
