Another eBay question
« on: 17 January 2013, 11:50 »
I haven't been on eBay that long so not really that sure on how it all works. But I sold an item last night and the buyer sent me a msg about an hour later saying they didn't want it any more. What can I do now wait the 4 days and list it as not payed for? Can I get payed at all saying they won it or take it as one of them thing and list it again?

You can second chance it to the next highest bidder.
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

Take him straight to ebay court or second chance it as said and leave him with bad feedback

Ok that's great thanks.  I tried to report it but eBay said I had to wait 4 days. It wasn't for a lot of money but still don't bid if your not wanting it.

IMO,

Leave it for 5 days and then open an unpaid case against him, if he dont pay you will get all your sellers fee's back, he gets a black mark and he also can't leave you neg feedback.

Only issue is you don't what to offer a second chance - just in case he decides to pay and then you could leave yourself open to not having the item to sell & then neg feedback.

Send him a mutual agreement or you wil get charged final value fee.

I hate when people buy and dont want it then, i once sold a car and the buyer backed out of sale and the final value fee was £20. I wasn't prepared to loose £20 on something i didn't even sell.
