Mk1 or Mk2 GTI would be my choice and will always be considered classics.

Saw the advert for the mk7 earlier on TV and it looks just like the mk5 and 6 so no real progress.

You were all wrong up to thai-wronghorse, who is still wrong because he can't spell Syncro.



Swiftly followed up by the Golf2 GTI G60 Syncro because it's lighter and far more stealthy than the Rallye.

Sadly though it's the best Golf that was only available in tiny numbers, didn't they only make something crazy like 25 3 doors versions?

Not sure about 3dr models released but i know there were only 71 in total.
