I would start with a smoke injection test into your turbo pipes to see if you've got a leak somewhere, thats the easiestbway of finding a boost leak. It could be a complete coincidence. But I'm finding it strange that there's no fault codes..boost leaks would usually cause a fault code...air mass meter might not...

Boost leaks never brought a code up on my 130. I had the EGR to intercooler pipe blow off, the red turbo pipe split and the intercooler was leaking and at no point did it flag up a code

Really?! That is a suprise..9 out of 10 at work will flag up a loss of boost code, especially volvo's!! Haha

Even more of a reason to get a smoke test done then :)

Yep. I think the only time i had a code was when the flexi pipe snapped off and threw me into limp mode

I dont think there were even any codes from when my turbo went pop!! There were deffo no warning lights lol

I usually find intermittent loss of boost or irregualar boost, would really expect something from a pooped out turbo  haha

Thats usually if you hit limp mode. Never hit limp mode with the boost leaks i had   Just hit 'f**ked mode' when the turbo went

I don't even think I got anything when I went into limp mode!

I'v driven like 30miles with the pipe to me EGR almost entirely out without knowing about it or a light.

Just check all of your boost pipes for leaks, take the bumper off to make it easier.

Well at the moment I havent a clue why its behaving the way it is  a friend of mine at R Tech explained that the EGR should not really cause any powerloss etc as already mentioned on here.Im taking the car into a garage I use tomorrow afternoon he is going to have a look at the car for me as I just havent a clue with anything to do with turbos and boost etc.The car is still driving fine as im still using it for work etc always the way with me I have unusal faults  thanks again for all replys etc and if anyone else has any feedback what it could be post away as ill be passing it all on to the chap tomorrow thanks.

Does the EGR delete have a take off for a boost gauge? Has that been blocked off? I assume all the o-rings are in place??  :undecided:

Just want to make sure you've covered the basics as its often those that are overlooked
