Oil in my pump .....o errrrrrr Mrs

Ok gotta replace sump gasket tomorrow while it's off I'd like to clean oil gauze/strainer never done this before so question is how does gauze come off I don't really want to take oil pump out

Item 20 is described as 026103637A, cheese head bolt. Two of them hold the pick-up onto the pump, by the looks of it.

So I have to undo the 2 bolts looks like I will need a new seal aswell

I ended up dropping the sump cleaning the inside new rubber gasket and putting it back I left the pump alone the luck I'm having lately something would have gone wrong.
Was still leaking oil after tightening sump nuts up so back underneath to see if it was crank seal fortunately it wasn't so I had to tighten sump nuts up some more which for me was twitchy bum time as they are only 6 mm thread and torqued to 20 nm was sure one at least would strip but fortunately everything is leak free
New oil cooler seal and new sump gasket  :grin: just the water leak in passenger footwell to sort out but that's another story
