TV recommendation again 55"

Hi,

I know there are a few threads already, but i am toying with replacing my 46" Sony Lcd with a 55" model.

Do i go with Sony again or Samsung/Panasonic or Lg.

Do i go Lcd/Led or Plasma....

Room is large enough and is quite bright, will be connected to Virgin Tivo HD and Sony Bravia 5.1 surround sound

Anyone advise further ?

panasonic plasma's are still considered the best for picture quality.  but they don't seem tohave the features of brands like samsung.  i bought a samsung 6540 because the compromise between picture quality, features and price.

Seriously can't daly my Samsung es8000 in 55 pal really is a good tv again as said Panasonic are also very good best  thing to do is go and have a look yourself pop in to John Lewis and have a look at some sets they price match and you get a 5 yr warranty

You could get one of the new 4K (super HD) telly's for around the same price as that full HD from B&O!
