Changing DV valve

So i have a forge recirculating DV from my old 1.4T mk5 golf, looking to fit this onto my mk6 golf gti, has anyone played with the DV's On their mk6? i popped my intake off the turbo this evening, but looks like the only possiable way i can get to the dv and the turbo will be from underneather the car upwards??
any one got any hints and tips??

For MK5 but procedure will be similar:

You can also access the DV by removing the offside wheel and arch liner.

General consensus has been that the latest revision DV is much better than the older valves and there is no requirement for the Forge valve anymore. The 'G' revision DV is what you want if you need to replace unless there has been another revision since...
