Thanks Jimble

I did press the button in the B pillar eventually but wanted alarm to carry on for a bit in the hope (wasted) that he would hear it!!

.....I've only just trained him to press it once to properly deadlock it!  Obviously too good a teacher

What have you done to your Mk6 today then?

Given her a rest.

The poor thing has been up and down mid and West Cornwall all week in all weathers and is grubby and smells of pasties!

Still, she had a great time on those sweeping country roads and I had a great time eating pasties!

It should do mine sat for 3 months and started ok.

Just went and filled mine with petrol ready for another 2 weeks commute.
Been using mine everyday for the past 2 weeks it looking very dirty  :embarrassed:
I often think I should have bought a silver one as dark colours just look dirty after 5 minutes use.  :embarrassed:

Cleaned it (with a wooly mitt; not the taboo 's' word ), drove it to pick up a mate from the railway station and saw 20 degrees outside temperature displayed on the MFD; first time this year I've seen it that high!

Bloody good clean at last, used my lambs wool mitt (no sponges here either ) and my excellent drying towel from i4 detailing. Iron x and tardis, clayed all over and just a quick polish no time for sealant or wax this week.

12.3038@109 mph with a 1.7741@60' launch at Santa Pod on Sunday.

Not too bad considering the 30mph headwind blowing all day!
