mk4 gti keys

Hello

Ive got a mk4 on a 'Y' plate and only came with one key. the key code is 'HAA' and is a 2 button key.

Ive seen this on ePay but its the 3 button key

My local vw dealers are asking for 150 quid for a new key and programming!

Does anyone know if this would work with mine?

Also does anyone know how to program keys to start the engine? Ive read that you can program them at home but im not sure if that just to do with opening/locking the doors

Ive got the VAG software and cables if that helps.

If you've got the 4 digit immobilizer code and your software will let you get in to the immobilizer program you may be lucky   
But if your not you may immobilize it completely if you don't do it right:undecided:
