Wipers very slow

just noticed my wipers are operating very slow sweeps over the windscreen any ideas new motor ?

The nuts havent come loose have they?
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

Linkage is seizing, common problem. Get down the scrappy...

fix them before they stop working like mine did 96 miles from my house on a rainy day.  :rolleyes:
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

This happened on my previous car, had no warning, just stoppped suddenly.
2002 1.8T GTI AUM, Standard (not for much longer)

possibly sticky linkage. if you need a replacement let me kno i have a fully working set up from mine, only removed as i thought it had died but turned out to be a relay!

I had this problem, wipers were going really slow even on full speed, would pick up a bit when it rain, i left them going on a rainy day and they freed themselves been okay for about 10 weeks now. touch wood.
