A note on 2013 Calendars (Charity Related)
« on: 08 January 2013, 11:21 »
Hi all,

Many of you will have seen workings of a forum calendar over the last couple of months, and yesterday I shipped the last two to their buyers (Diamond Hell and robiwill). I have totted up all expenses which includes the printing of the calendars, packaging and postage and the end result is £27.20.

This has been added to the forum charity, and if you haven't already, please make a donation at the link:

This is the fifth forum calendar I have produced now and with each year I feel the quality of them has only gotten better, however the quantity shifted has decreased over the past few years. Many will know that there are a lot of hours that go in to the overall production of these from my end which includes setting up polls, information on calendars, designing the calendars and the putting it altogether. Not to mention running around getting them printed, packaged and posted.

In the past it has been worthwhile doing due to a decent return but after last year, and this year especially it has left me a bit disheartened. I know it's no-ones fault but I think it's one of those things that has finally run out of steam.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported the calendar process over the years, it has been very much appreciated and it's what has kept me going. The forum is finding other ways to help the chosen charity each year and with excellent results, please continue to support them and their great causes.

Echo Lewy's statement; you've always done a top job on them despite the crap that gets chucked at you

Haven't bought one for a couple of years but have made a donation to help

Shame it's ending but i can see why . I've been lucky enough to get into the last 2 years and came top of the polls this year which i was well chuffed with!
I shall still make a donation regardless anyway.

However I feel I have no real need to take pictures of my car now!  I bought a spangly new dslr just to take a pic for this year's calender in the hope y car didn't come out purple again should I get in.
