jom coilovers or spax adjustable kit
« on: 06 January 2013, 19:04 »
right this is doing my head in trying to get a suspension kit ordered.

JOM kit obviously price a big issue here. im sure they quite a firm ride BUT im quite happy to lower the rear by say 45mm but front i will not lower my 35mm-40mm due to huge amounts of speed bumps and rubbish roads where i live.

now was looking at the spax 35mm suspension kit with adjustable damping 28 settings.

this would give a reasonable lowering and give adjustment of how hard the ride is. but over twice the price

finaally seen the JOM 35mm suspension kit for like £135.00

all come with 2 year warranty .

any opinions on these? are the JOMS ok on quality

i will point out im not tracking the car etc and dont want to shake the car to bits

I've always worked on the principle of.. you get what you pay for.

Like jim said you get what you pay..... for plenty of folk running jobs on here they do the job that's about it... Why not just get eibach lowering springs 35mm

that will do.

35mm lowering all round and adjustable stiffness i think is the sensible choice been where i live and the amount of driving i do on these bad roads
