Cant get boot open
«

So my boot lock mechanism has jammed and wont unlock the boot and the lock barrel is seized...
Going to try and pry the inner cover off enough to get at the latch tomorrow.
Any other ideas on how to open it?

you can get the inner cover off while the boot is shut, did it on my mates, although it takes a hell of a lot of force to get it to release. Once you're in you can operate the latch manually, you'll see the bit that needs levering

you can get at the screws okay. Just pull the bottom of the trim away once the screws are out and there's an access hole for the latch mechanism
