idiots guide to changing dizzy cap rotor arm an ht leads needed.

Mark all leads on dizzy and dizzy, with tip ex in numbers 1-4 with . Pop dizzy off pull rotor arm off and for new one only goes one way no need to change the little plastic disc cover . Fit new dizzy only goes one way  , pull marked leads of old dizzy and copy the old marked dizzy for fitting old leads on to it in same place then change leads one by one from plugs to dizzy .


And take a photo once old dizzy is marked on car for your reference so you can re match numbered Leeds if you get stuck

yeah thanks i have given it a go...the new leads from eurocarparts are all the same length..unlike what they quote in their advert. They don't fit as snugly as the old OEM leads, and there is a gap between the engine block and the lead where you can see the spark plug..but they don't misfire..

Not really ideal,,,but I hope it will run better than on the old leads...which were in poor condition...

I took it for a drive and it seems to have a bit more pep...but I am more concerned about fuel consumption...and hope that will improve a little bit!

That does not sound right mate you need to get the correct length leads,the slightest bit of moisture and it will miss like a blindfolded executioner.

All the euro ones are the same length , had mine on for a while no problems

yeah they don't fit snugly on like the OEM leads do...so I can see the bottom of the spark plug.. kind of sucks that they are all the same length...why would eurocarparts state different in their ad??I would've paid  a few quid more for the right length leads and a snug fit!
