Gambit - Should the red lead disconnected. breather hole blocked when it's being set up on an emissions analyzer?

If so i'll have to go back as they did not do this??

Ok thanks, i'll take it back friday and get them to do it properlly, with the hose disconnected and blocked and red lead disconnected!

Like i said, i was told on another forum, to raise the idle to 1000 with the red lead disconnected first before setting the C0, the re-set the idle when red lead connected - Heard this before?

Only if you promise to send it back

But surely after postage either way you could just pay for a garage to do it?

True

I'll see how it goes on friday, hopefully i can get the garage to sort it!

But i would rather do it my self, you take time and get it just right!

I have no idea how big it is (ooooer). will it cost alot to post? If it will cost me a total of £20 in postage then i don't mind paying!

The box is about the size of a shoebox, but it is actually really light so wont cost a huge ammount.  I recon they could have made the thing the size of a multimeter, but that wouldn't justify the cost of em new so they made a big impressive plasic box filled with air and an LCD on the front

You'll have to wait till after this weekend cos I want to have another go at settin the CO, just to make sure I did it right last time :)
