My Christmas Present

Christmas morning  LOUD EXPLOSION.   
6th sense it was my car parked and unattended outside.
£17000 damage  9 months old

All gone since 2001 some forgotten. Porsche Boxster/Cooper S Works/Merc CLK/Gti MK5/ Audi TT/ GTi Ed 30/BMW 123d/Ford Kuga/GTi Ed 35. All new all lost money, some a lot more than others.(except edition 35 which lost nothing  in 9 months other than its wings, suspension, roof etc))

Twisted the shell by the look of it so reshell?
Do insurance companys still work on 3/4 the value to write cars off?

It shouldn't as it should be the third parties insurance paying out with nothing for your own insurer to do.

Absolutely gutting, and Christmas morning too :sad:
