My boot is playing up when the car is locks my boot still opens but have had to lock it shut but then when the car is open and then the boot is still lockd and I can still hear the motor working

Take the panel off on the interior and have a look. my guess would be that the rod that locks/unlocks the boot has came loose

there is also a little plastic clip that comes off the boot lock

I picked up a second hand boot that was doing this due to water damage to the wiring caused by a leaking rear washer

mine did this for a while. i squirted some wd40 in the lock barrel, locked and unlocked it a few times to loosen it up then it started working again. couldve been coincidence but i dont know

Done that to day mate as thought thats wot it could be by its not will have to open it up Sunday and have a good look
